Neufin is a tech-led energy retailer delivering clean, low-cost and flexible energy to India's mid-market Commercial & Industrial businesses.
Our energy software, Lumen, helps businesses track, pay, and optimise their electricity costs (₹/kWh). By integrating real-time IoT data with predictive AI, we enable lower power costs and easier compliance with clean energy targets.
Your responsibility will be to own the end-to-end operational execution of Neufin businesses from PPA signature to final settlement. We are looking for candidates who combine operational rigour with energy sector knowledge, and who have the communication skills to manage customers, suppliers, and regulatory counterparts simultaneously. Extreme ownership and a strong bias for systematising everything are key to success.
Contract Lifecycle Management: Track every active PPA from signing through to steady-state power delivery — milestones, open access approval timelines, metering setup, and grid connectivity. Build the system that makes every step visible and every delay flagged before it becomes a problem.
Billing & Reconciliation: Generate customer invoices based on metered consumption and contract terms. Reconcile supplier bills against metered generation volumes. Verify units delivered against contracted quantities. Manage Lumen(our energy software)-to-billing workflows.
Regulatory & DISCOM Coordination/Liaisoning: Manage state-level liaisoning as needed. Approval timelines are predictable — your job is to ensure we never miss one. Coordinate documentation requirements with customers and suppliers.
Scheduling & Dispatch: Own daily energy scheduling coordination, power exchange transaction tracking, and monthly settlement processes for Neufin's own trading book. Build the operations playbook for a function that will grow rapidly.
Process Design & Automation: Document SOPs for every repeatable operation. Identify and implement automation wherever it reduces manual work. Scaling from 15 to 80+ customers cannot mean 5x the operations workload — your job is to make sure it doesn't.
2–5 years in energy operations/scheduling/liaisoning and/or revenue operations.
Strong Excel/Sheets proficiency; experience with operations management or CRM software.
High attention to detail — you catch the discrepancy before it becomes a dispute.
Strong communicator across customers, suppliers, and regulatory counterparts simultaneously.
Extreme ownership: you pick up problems before they are handed to you.
The right attitude toward a sense of urgency, risk, and ambiguity that comes naturally with working at an early-stage startup.
