Development of Neufin’s climate finance data models and extend the company's existing RAG systems. Ideate and build models for industry use cases. You get to experience the projects' complete 0-1 cycle, from data gathering, harmonising, modelling, building pipelines, and deploying a production-ready model. We work on models that derive actionable financial insights from complicated climate data, help with risk assessment, and develop intelligent agents capable of navigating complexities in this new and emerging space.
Work closely with our Engineering Lead and internal/external stakeholders to ideate and build products, tools, and services from scratch and deliver high-quality software products.
Brainstorm and lay the foundations of the technology, architectural roadmap, and development processes. Then, set up testing and monitoring for the systems you build.
Share your technical expertise to help the team make thoughtful and scalable design decisions and identify performance bottlenecks quickly to troubleshoot.
Manage product development priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
Projects and demonstrable experience building ML/DL models, and RAG apps using Langchain or other frameworks.
Creating data aggregation pipelines. Experience with ethical web scraping.
Experience executing an entire product lifecycle journey through:
conception → coding → testing → deployment → monitoring
Familiar with at least one server-side framework/language - Python preferred.
Hands-on experience working with AWS.
Well-versed with version control(Git) and preferably some hands-on experience with CI/CD.
Strong arithmetic reasoning, and logical and analytical thinking skills.
Strong knowledge of code quality maintenance and performance analysis.
Thoughtful problem-solving: We expect you to solve problems. Solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about the business impact of what you're building, and you prioritise projects accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff—you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.

Have worked on the creation of data products or big data pipelines.
Have interests outside of technology - could be in any unrelated field (design, sports, economics, business etc.)
